Bruce A. Rosenblat

Bruce Rosenblat is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer – COO of Business Edge International. Bruce oversees the company’s Marketing and Advertising divisions as well as serving as a Senior Executive Coach specializing in both Sales Management and High Impact Coaching.
Bruce began his business career in Mortgage Banking after completing college in 1982. Always self directed, early on in his career Bruce created numerous action plans including a company driven database management system to generate repetitive business and by penning an internal publication entitled “A Loan Officers Guide to Realtor Relationships” which helped to increase the company’s overall production exponentially. The publication was widely used as the initial model for “Relationship Based Selling” in the mortgage industry.
Bruce’s twenty eight year mortgage banking career included working for both smaller independently owned mortgage lenders as well as national firms where he often delivered unprecedented shareholder value to company stockholders and even helped drive one company to become one of the first independently owned mortgage bankers to exceed one billion dollars in retail production.
While being widely acknowledged in the industry as a business mentor, coach and trainer for building and “Top Grading” staffing, as well as increasing company productivity and profitability to unprecedented levels, he continued to produce loans himself consistently setting and exceeded sales goals. He has been recognized by a number of organizations as a top producer consistently being number one in personal production for a number of Michigan corporations earning the title “President’s Club” award winner numerous times.
In April of 2004, he formed his own company North Star Home Lending. A Bingham Farms, Michigan based company he established with the intention of becoming the country’s pre-eminent relationship based mortgage lender. His mission: Building relationships through knowledge, understanding and compassion. The following year his company was rated by Crain’s Magazine as one of “Michigan’s Top Five Leading Gainers
It was also during this time that he constructed, from the knowledge he had attained in building relationships, the foundation for the sales coaching he now uses in coaching not only his fellow employees but those who have hired him to increase the productivity and profitability of their own corporations. He has a passion for sharing with others and helping them increase and maximize their sales potential.
Often requested to be a keynote speaker at many corporate functions, he was the host of “The North Star Home Lending Hour” on local Detroit talk-radio and a frequent guest on many other radio and television shows as well as having been profiled in many local publications, including both the Detroit News and the Oakland Business Review.
An author for a number of trade magazines, he recently published his first book “It’s a Great Deal, All Three of Me Think So”. A lighthearted look at selling from a personal perspective. He is also a member in good standing of the Building Industry Association, the National Association or Mortgage Brokers, and the Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association as well as the Mortgage Bankers Association..
He has been married 27 years to Jackie and has two daughters Ashley who is 23 and Alexa who is 15.
